Each page records an incident representing the pure kindness strangers in Hong Kong show to each others. Whether it is a delivery man using his trolley to help an old man up the road, or the wet market vendor teaching you how to cook their vegetables, these little acts of kindness always catch my attention. I want to showcase them in my work and let them shine. I believe it is these small bonds that infuse the city with life. To convey this, I made the first page of Hong Kong in black and white and gradually adding colours as a reflection of the warm actions of citizens. By the end, the city is filled with vibrancy and beauty once again.
